Brian Richardson joined the firm in 2015 and is an associate in the firm’s coverage and commercial litigation section. He has experience representing businesses and individuals in various matters, including insurance coverage claims, first-party and third-party insurance claims, construction defect, employment, premises liability, products liability, transportation, wrongful death, bad faith and class action litigation.

In 2012, Mr. Richardson received his J.D. from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. He was a senior editor for the American Journal of Trial Advocacy and a recipient of the Scholar of Merit Award in Conflicts of Law. He is admitted to practice law in Alabama and the U.S. Courts for the Northern, Southern and Middle Districts of Alabama.

Mr. Richardson is an Alabama native and attended Auburn University where he received a Bachelor of Science in building science. While there, he successfully completed the professional requirements for the Cooperative Education Program and was awarded the Comer Foundation Scholarship. After graduating, Mr. Richardson worked as an estimator and project manager for a large regional general contractor. During his time in this line of work, he helped manage the construction of a multimillion-dollar healthcare facility and participated in several successful bids and estimates related to schools, banks, healthcare facilities and wastewater treatment plants. He was also a member of the Associated General Contractors of Alabama and earned a LEED Accredited Professional certification from the Green Building Certification Institute.

Mr. Richardson enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with his wife and daughter. Brian is also a member of Dawson Baptist Church in Homewood, Alabama.
