Swift Currie Birmingham Attorneys Recognized Among 2020 Mid-South Super Lawyers Rising Stars
Swift, Currie, McGhee & Hiers, LLP, is pleased to announce three of its Birmingham-based attorneys have been named as Rising Stars in the 2020 Insurance Coverage category of the Mid-South Super Lawyers list. Brandon Clapp and Brian Richardson were recognized for the third consecutive year and Murray Flint was recognized for the first time. No more than 2.5 percent of lawyers across Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee are honored as Rising Stars, who must be 40 years old or younger or have been practicing for less than 10 years.
Richardson has a diverse practice that includes work in the firm’s arson and fraud, automobile litigation, bad faith litigation, commercial litigation, construction law, insurance coverage, property insurance and trucking litigation practice areas. He also represents businesses and individuals on matters related to employment, wrongful death, transportation and products liability. Richardson earned his undergraduate degree from Auburn University and his law degree from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University.
Clapp represents clients in matters related to insurance coverage, professional liability and commercial disputes. In addition to his experience representing both businesses and individuals on insurance law matters, he has a well-rounded litigation background handling construction, employment, products liability and transportation cases. Clapp earned his undergraduate degree from Hampden-Sydney College and his law degree from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University.
Flint practices in the firm’s coverage and commercial litigation section. He advises insurance carriers on coverage issues and handles arson and fraud claims. He also defends companies and individuals in the areas of construction defect, premises liability, product liability, personal injury, and appellate advocacy. Flint earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and his law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law.
