Overview
Kori E. Wagner is a litigation partner experienced in handling all aspects of premises liability and personal injury cases for individuals, corporations and national insurance carriers. Additionally, Kori is actively defending multiple cases in state and federal court involving civil cases filed against lodging facilities by victims of sex trafficking, which is an emerging and ever-changing area of law. Kori focuses on providing excellent service to her clients with an emphasis on clear and frequent communication. This helps her clients appreciate all sides of an issue so that the strengths and weaknesses of a strategy are understood in order to fully evaluate the best course of action. This collaboration results in an open dialogue and comfort level between Kori and her clients that is helpful in achieving the best possible results efficiently and effectively.
Kori won a defense verdict in her first jury trial and has continued to successfully try cases in the state of Georgia. She has also obtained favorable dispositive and pre-trial court rulings for her clients in state and federal court. She was recognized as “One to Watch” five years in a row by Best Lawyers and is active in professional and industry organizations, including Georgia Defense Lawyers Association and DRI's Retail and Hospitality Committee. She co-chairs Swift Currie's Summer Associate Program and serves on the firm's Hiring and Business Development Committees. Kori prides herself on serving as a mentor and role model to newer associates within the firm.
Prior to pursuing her legal career, Kori worked in sales and customer relations for a national distribution company and a Southeast-based national manufacturer and distributor.
