Webinar
09.09.2020

Swift Currie attorneys Fred Ferrand and Kori Eskridge, along with Neal Cason of Matson Driscoll and Damico, are presenting a webcast for The Seminar Group entitled, "Insurance Considerations Relative to COVID-19." The program will be broadcast live on Sept. 9 from 1-3:30 p.m. Eastern.

The COVID-19 crisis has created havoc with businesses throughout the country. In an attempt to seek indemnification for their business losses created by the pandemic, an increasing number of companies are turning to their respective property insurance carriers for business interruption coverage.

Ferrand, Eskridge and Cason will discuss how carriers are responding to these claims and what policy exclusions and provisions can preclude the success of such claims. They will also examine how COVID-19 is affecting both non-COVID and COVID-related claim calculations of business losses. Further, they will conduct a mock examination under oath and examine what certain state legislators are doing to ensure that coverage exists for these claims.

The Seminar Group is an accredited legal and professional education provider and offers continuing education credits in a variety of professions.

Swift Currie clients may register using code FAC50 to receive $50 off the regular tuition rate.
