WEBINAR: “Your” Hired – Negligent Hiring and Its Ramifications

Webinar
11.16.2023 | 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm EST

Attorneys Brianna Tucker and Tim Peacock will host the webinar "'Your' Hired – Negligent Hiring and Its Ramifications" on November 16, 2023, from 1-2 p.m. Eastern.

Negligent hiring claims are frequently pled in lawsuits involving employee misconduct. These claims are advanced, or disposed of, in summary judgment based on what is learned in discovery after a lawsuit is filed. A claims professional can begin sizing up the potential red flags with these types of claims in the pre-suit phase. In this webinar, our attorneys will explore the impact of Quynn v. Hulsey on summary judgment adjudication and delve into the basics of these claims, including employer duties, plaintiff attorney strategies and pre-suit phase involvement.

The webinar will offer one general continuing education credit for attendees registered with the Georgia Department of Insurance (pending approval).
