"Federal Regulations Update"

Employment Relations Today
01.31.2018

In an article published in the Fall 2017 issue of Employment Relations Today, Swift Currie attorneys Anandhi Rajan and Crystal McElrath provide an overview of the recent regulatory changes at the U.S. Department of Labor, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Internal Revenue Service, National Labor Relations Board and Occupational Safety and Health Administration. “The flood of regulatory changes in 2016 was followed by a series of court challenges and a change of the political parties in the White House,” they write. The article also provides insight into the individuals who have taken on new leadership positions and been nominated for others. For example, Janet Dhillon was nominated as chair of the EEOC. If she is confirmed by the Senate, then she will serve a term that expires in 2022, Rajan and McElrath explain.
