WEBINAR: Quandaries on Quynn - The Lasting Effect of Quynn v. Hulsey

Webinar
11.17.2021

This webinar has been postponed from Oct. 7, 2021, to Nov. 17, 2021. If you previously registered, you do not need to register again.

Attorneys Bill Casey and Beth Bentley will host the webinar, "Quandaries on Quynn: The Lasting Effect of Quynn v. Hulsey," on Nov. 17, 2021, from 1-2 p.m. Eastern.

The Supreme Court of Georgia surprised everyone when it overturned more than 50 years of precedent in Quynn v. Hulsey, purportedly because a statute enacted more than 15 years ago abrogated it.

Now that a few months have allowed for the decision to be interpreted and put to use, Casey and Bentley will explore the case and how it significantly changed the landscape for personal injury claims in Georgia related to the conduct of employees and their employers, including motor carriers and their drivers.

The webinar will offer one general hour of continuing education credit (pending approval) for attendees registered with the Georgia Department of Insurance.

Instructions to join webinar will be emailed to registrants closer to the date of the program.
