WEBINAR – Arguably Covered, Definitely Defended: Georgia's Broad Standard for the Duty to Defend

Webinar
07.08.2025 | 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm EST

Attorneys Mollie Beth Amick and Dy Harris will host the webinar "Arguably Covered, Definitely Defended: Georgia's Broad Standard for the Duty to Defend" on July 8, 2025, from 1-2 p.m. Eastern.

Georgia’s duty to defend is one of the broadest in the nation, requiring insurers to defend when claims are “even arguably" covered. This webinar provides insurance adjusters with essential tools for making sound duty-to-defend determinations that protect both insurer and insured interests. Attendees will master the practical application of Georgia's duty to defend standard, learn to evaluate complex coverage scenarios, and understand how related concepts like reservation of rights support proper defense obligations. The focus is on front-end decision-making that prevents costly coverage disputes and ensures compliance with Georgia’s expansive defense requirements.

The webinar will offer one hour of continuing education credit for attendees registered with the Georgia Department of Insurance (pending approval).
