Overview

Dynisha “Dy” W. Harris is an associate attorney in Swift Currie’s Atlanta office. She focuses her practice on matters involving complex litigation pertaining to premises liability, construction law and product liability.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Dy spent three years teaching middle school, which allowed her to develop her communication and management skills and taught her the importance of perspective, patience and perseverance. Dy believes that the skills and values she gained as an educator are essential in her legal practice, as the ability to engage and empathize with others is paramount to building solid relationships with her clients.

Since beginning her legal career, Dy has defended several multi-million dollar claims, with the highest demand in excess of 80 million dollars.

Dy earned her J.D. from Georgia State College of Law. She received her B.A. from Georgia State University.
