Swift Currie Continues Growth in Atlanta with Addition of 5 New Attorneys; Welcomes 2019 Class of Summer Associates

06.03.2019

Swift, Currie, McGhee & Hiers, LLP, announces the addition of five attorneys to its Atlanta office during May 2019, as well as the start of the firm’s six summer associates on May 20. The newest arrivals to the growing firm include associates Alex A. Mikhalevsky, Jenifer F. Pfanzelt, Kathryn B. Robertson, Riley W. Snider and Kenneth C. Wilson. These latest additions to the firm follow the arrival of six attorneys in the early months of 2019 and 45 new hires in 2018, which brought the firm’s headcount to more than 150 attorneys and made it the largest firm in Georgia focused solely on litigation.

Alex A. Mikhalevsky returns to the firm as part of Swift Currie’s coverage and commercial litigation team after previously practicing at the firm from February 2015 to February 2018. He practices in the areas of insurance coverage, arson and fraud, bad faith and commercial litigation. Mikhalevsky handles all phases of insurance coverage matters, but has extensive experience managing automobile liability and catastrophic injury claims. He earned his undergraduate degree from Clemson University and his law degree from Georgia State University College of Law.

Jenifer F. Pfanzelt joins Swift Currie’s coverage and commercial litigation team as an associate. Pfanzelt handles matters related to insurance coverage, commercial litigation and construction litigation. Her experience includes representing carriers in coverage arbitration and litigation, providing claims advice and defending against bad faith claims. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Dallas and her law degree from Baylor Law School.

Kathryn B. Robertson joins Swift Currie’s litigation team as an associate. She focuses her practice on medical malpractice defense, premises liability and trucking litigation. Robertson earned her undergraduate degree from Auburn University and her law degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law.

Riley W. Snider joins Swift Currie’s litigation team as an associate. He handles matters related to commercial litigation and premises liability. Snider’s experience also includes the representation of individuals and corporate entities in a range of complex litigation on both the plaintiff and defense side. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama, his MBA from Mercer University Eugene W. Stetson School of Business and Economics and his law degree from Mercer University School of Law.

Kenneth C. Wilson joins Swift Currie’s litigation team as an associate, concentrating his practice on automobile litigation, premises liability and products liability. Previously, he served as an assistant district attorney for Fulton County and represented a Fortune 500 company as in-house counsel. He earned his undergraduate degree from Morehouse College and his law degree from Mercer University School of Law.

Swift Currie is also pleased to announce this year’s class of summer associates, who will practice in the firm’s Atlanta office and include:
