Court of Appeals Enforces Pre-Suit Settlement in Auto Accident Case

In Slaughter, et al., v. Cravens, Rebecca Strickland and Kelly Chartash, along with co-counsel, successfully obtained an opinion from the Court of Appeals of Georgia in which the Court of Appeals reversed the lower court’s ruling and instead enforced a pre-suit settlement in an automobile accident. The Court of Appeals’ opinion is now pending the plaintiff’s notice of intent to file petition of writ of certiorari to the Supreme Court of Georgia.
