WEBINAR: Is Offering a Claimant Suitable Light Duty Work a "Fool's Errand"?

Webinar
04.01.2020

Partner Marion Martin and attorney Jonathan Wilson will host the webinar, "Is Offering a Claimant Suitable Light Duty Work a "Fool's Errand"? on April 1 from 1-2 p.m.

The WC-240 job offer process can be tricky, but do not let the procedural requirements or challenges fool you into thinking you cannot master this very useful strategy.

Martin and Wilson will discuss the legal steps and procedural requirements to successfully offer suitable light duty work to an employee — from job description, to physician approval, to job offer and beyond. The webinar will also address strategically using the WC-240 offer to its greatest impact in a claim, regardless of whether the employee refuses the job or returns to work. Offering light duty will not be a “fool’s errand” once you become proficient in the process.

The webinar will offer one general hour of continuing education credit (pending approval) for attendees registered with the Georgia Department of Insurance.

Instructions to join webinar will be emailed to registrants closer to the date of the program.
