08.02.2022 | 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm EST

Attorneys Janie Hagood and Tim Peacock will host the webinar “Understanding Liens: A Deep Dive Into Hospital Liens and Attorneys' Liens,” on August 2, 2022, from 1-2 p.m. Eastern.

Join our attorneys as they discuss the ins and outs of hospital liens and attorneys’ liens as they relate to personal injury claims. This webinar will provide you with an overview of what makes a hospital lien valid or not, notice requirements, lien perfection and how to protect the insured and insurer from lien claims after settlement. Our presenters will also discuss attorneys' liens, when the lien can attach to a settlement and what an attorney is allowed to “hold” until the lien is satisfied.

The webinar will offer one general hour of continuing education credit for attendees registered with the Georgia Department of Insurance.

Click here to register. Instructions to join webinar will be emailed to registrants closer to the date of the program.
