WEBINAR: Navigating Default Judgments

Webinar
08.27.2020

Attorneys Steven DeFrank and Lauren Meadows will host the webinar, "Navigating Default Judgments: The Role of a Claims Representative When Seeking to Open Default," on Aug. 27 from 1-2 p.m. Eastern.

A case can go into default for a variety of reasons. Fortunately, Georgia law provides a process for opening default under specific circumstances. A successful motion to open default requires a quick, collaborative effort on the part of the insured, claims representative and attorney.

This webinar will explore the legal standard for opening default under Georgia law and the claims representative’s role in seeking to open default.

The webinar will offer one general hour of continuing education credit (pending approval) for attendees registered with the Georgia Department of Insurance.

Instructions to join webinar will be emailed to registrants closer to the date of the program.
