WEBINAR: Important Policy Conditions - The When, The Who and The How Much

03.29.2016

Swift Currie attorneys Shannon Schlottmann, Kelly Chartash and Jessica Phillips will present the “Important Policy Conditions —The When, The Who and The How Much” webinar on Tuesday, March 29, from 1-2pm EST.

They will discuss the contractual suit limitation defense in Georgia and how an adjuster can avoid waiving the suit limitation defense. Further, the presenters will review the options an insurer has after the suit limitation period has expired and the insured continues to pursue his/her claim. In addition, the webinar will provide overviews of the assignments of post-loss benefits under Georgia law and the interpretation of non-assignability clauses by Georgia courts. Finally, they will discuss mortgagee rights under the various types of mortgagee provisions commonly contained in insurance policies.

This is a FREE webinar and offers 1 general hour of continuing education for Georgia insurance adjusters licensed with the Georgia Department of Insurance.
