David Atkinson Speaking at Network of Trial Law Firms Seminar

The City Bar Building – New York
08.02.2019

Partner David Atkinson will give two presentations during the Network of Trial Law Firm's Litigation Management in a New York Minute seminar on Aug. 2, 2019.

Atkinson's first presentation, "How Could They Do That? Recent Trends in Civil Jury Verdicts," will discuss the "lottery mentality" trend in which jury awards are reaching into millions, and even billions, of dollars for personal injury cases. His session will explore various speculations behind the theories supporting this trend and the changing landscape of jury awards.

Atkinson will then host Track F of the working-lunch roundtable discussion groups. Participants in the roundtable, "Ethical Considerations for Defense Counsel, The Client and the Insurance Client in the Tripartite Relationship," will discuss various issues based on who their client is, and how coverage considerations impact defense strategy and impact reporting.

The program will be held at the City Bar Building in New York, New York.

The Network of Trial Law Firms mission is to "connect the world's leading corporations with world-class legal experts."
