Maintaining control of a claimant’s medical treatment is crucial to mitigate expenses in a workers’ compensation claim. A claim in which a claimant may treat with a physician of his or her choosing will, in most cases, be unreasonably more drawn out and expensive than it should be. Controlling medical means keeping a claimant treating with physicians who you know, trust and can reach when issues arise during a case. In this webinar, attorneys will outline the methods by which you are able to control a claimant’s medical treatment under the Georgia Workers’ Compensation Act and, thus, control the ultimate direction of a claim.
