Overview

Vanessa Francois is an associate attorney in Swift Currie’s Atlanta office. She focuses her practice on defending insurance companies against a diverse range of claims related to automobile litigation, catastrophic injury & wrongful death, premises liability and products liability.

With significant experience in first-party property and bad faith litigation, Vanessa prides herself on being a problem-solver who develops practical and creative solutions in a cost-effective manner. She is a zealous advocate who utilizes a variety of litigation tools and skills to reach successful resolutions for her clients.

Vanessa earned her J.D. from the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law. While in law school, she served as a Senior Editor of the Southern Journal of Policy and Justice. Prior, Vanessa received her M.S. degree from the University of Central Florida and her B.A. from the University of Florida.

Vanessa has a strong commitment to community involvement. Outside of work, she volunteers with the Restoration of Civil Rights Project, the Home Sweet Home Project, Habitat for Humanity and Books for Africa. Additionally, Vanessa enjoys playdates at the dog park with her Shorkie, Francesca “Fancy”.
