Aaron Ruffin

Aaron M. Ruffin is an associate at Swift Currie representing clients in complex civil litigation, with a focus on product liability, automobile litigation, trucking litigation, catastrophic injury, bad faith, medical malpractice and premises liability matters.

Aaron develops tailored defense strategies for each case, drawing on extensive experience managing high-stakes, multi-party litigation. From early case assessment through trial, he identifies the pivotal legal and factual issues that drive resolution and crafts persuasive, clear narratives that connect with judges and juries alike.

Before joining Swift Currie, Aaron served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Dontae L. Bugg of the 19th Judicial Circuit Court of Virginia in Fairfax County. He has since represented Fortune 500 companies across the energy, technology, manufacturing and retail industries, defending matters valued in the hundreds of millions of dollars.

Aaron earned his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School and his B.A. from Brown University.
