Overview

Adriana de la Torriente is a senior attorney in Swift Currie’s Atlanta office. She focuses her practice on defending employers and insurance companies in workers’ compensation claims throughout the state of Georgia.

Before joining Swift Currie, Adriana built a wide-ranging legal career that included serving as a Judge Pro Tempore in the Juvenile Court of DeKalb County and practicing family law, where she counseled clients through complex custody cases involving abuse allegations and contested parent-child relationships. She also served as a guardian ad Litem, conducting independent investigations and distilling large volumes of evidence into practical recommendations. Adriana’s prior legal experience provides her with a process-driven, client-focused approach to problem solving.

Clients appreciate Adriana’s ability to listen carefully, explain options clearly and deliver strategies tailored to each case. As a native Spanish speaker, Adriana is uniquely equipped to meet the needs of Georgia’s diverse communities, allowing her to connect directly with clients and reduce the reliance on interpreters.

Adriana earned her J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law and her Bachelor of Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
