Swift Currie Welcomes Four New Associates in Atlanta

Swift, Currie, McGhee & Hiers LLP is pleased to announce the addition of four new associates to its Atlanta office: Nelofar Agharahimi and Gillian S. Crowl in the firm’s Coverage and Commercial Litigation practice group, C. Pari Fakhrzadeh in the Workers’ Compensation practice group and David A. Smith in the Litigation practice group. Swift Currie has now added a total of nine attorneys in 2017, as the firm continues a growth phase fueled by its model of delivering high value at reasonable cost to its clients.

Agharahimi joins the firm from Moore, Ingram, Johnson & Steele LLP in Marietta. She has experience serving as in-house counsel, including a role as a litigation attorney with an insurance company. Agharahimi has experience investigating claims, advising clients on settlements, evaluating strengths and weaknesses in workers’ compensation claims and determining the best action for employers and insurers to take in decision making. Agharahimi earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and her law degree from the University of Toledo College of Law.

Crowl joins the firm from Gray, Rust, St. Amand, Moffett & Brieske, LLP in Atlanta after spending most of the previous five years working for a firm in Charlotte where she focused on complex litigation. Crowl focuses her practice on commercial litigation, construction defects, professional negligence and insurance coverage matters. She has experience counseling clients in the implementation and revision of company policies and procedures. She earned her undergraduate and masters from Cornell University and her law degree from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law.

Fakhrzadeh joins the firm from Hamilton, Westby, Antonowich & Anderson LLC in Atlanta. She focuses her practice on workers’ compensation and has experience advising clients regarding coverage, legal issues, appropriate action and in-depth evaluation reports. Fakhrzadeh earned her undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina and her law degree from Georgia State University College of Law in 2014 where she served as president of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity and was a member of the Association of Women Law Students and the Business & Law Society.

Smith joins the firm from Waldon Adelman Castilla Hiestand & Prout in Atlanta. Smith’s practice focuses on automobile litigation, premises liability and general liability defense and he has experience defending individuals and businesses through all phases of litigation. He earned his undergraduate degree from Emory University and law degree from Vanderbilt University School of Law in 2015. Smith served as an associate justice at Vanderbilt’s Moot Court Board and was a member of the varsity basketball team at Emory.
