Swift Currie Announces New Partners for 2017

ATLANTA (January 3, 2017) – Swift, Currie, McGhee & Hiers, LLP, is proud to announce three new partners for 2017 that have been named to the firm’s partnership: Richard A. Phillips, Amanda M. Conley and W. Bradley Holcombe.

Richard A. Phillips handles a wide variety of workers’ compensation matters including catastrophic injury and wrongful death. His practice focuses on representing employers, insurers and third party administrators and he has extensive experience representing both small and large employers in a variety of industries including construction, hospitality, manufacturing and staffing and professional employer organizations. His memberships include the State Bar of Georgia, Atlanta Bar Association and the Georgia Hotel and Lodging Association. Phillips received his J.D. from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University and also earned an Advanced Degree Certificate in Legal Writing, Research and Drafting.

Amanda M. Conley practices in the area of workers’ compensation defense. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and received her J.D., magna cum laude, in 2007 from the University of Alabama. While in law school she served on the managing board of the Journal of Legal Profession. Conley was named a Georgia Super Lawyer Rising Star by Atlanta Magazine in 2013, 2014 and again in 2016.

W. Bradley Holcombe practices in the area of workers’ compensation defense. He regularly advises his clients, including retailers, health care providers and staffing and hospitality companies on the defense and prosecution of workers’ compensation claims and potential subrogation recovery, and the ever-changing legal landscape. In 2015, Holcombe was selected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Georgia Staffing Association. He received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Florida School of Law in 2008. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Georgia Staffing Association, State Bar of Georgia and the Atlanta Bar Association.
