"Swift Currie Adds 25th Lawyer This Year as Litigation Defense Stays Hot,” Daily Report

07.10.2018

Swift, Currie, McGhee & Hiers, LLP, was featured in a front page story in the July 10, 2018, issue of the Daily Report following the addition of the firm’s 25th lawyer so far in 2018. With approximately 140 lawyers on the Swift Currie team, the firm has become Atlanta’s largest firm focused solely on litigation. After adding 16 attorneys in 2017, the firm has continued to grow quickly and strategically to provide value and results for the diverse litigation needs clients may have.

“We can handle just about any litigation matter,” said Terry Brantley, managing partner. “The challenge is education – letting clients know how we can help in other areas.”

Lauren Woodrick was the 25th attorney to join the Swift Currie team in 2018. She previously served as a staff attorney for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and then for Judge Stanley Marcus. Her addition capped off a busy June for the firm following the announcement of seven new attorneys on June 7, 2018.
