Kayla Washington HeadshotAttorney Kayla Washington will serve as a judge for the Region 8 National Trial Competition (NTC), hosted by the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University on Feb. 8, 2020.

The NTC, which is co-sponsored by the American College of Trial Lawyers, exposes law students to trial practice and serves as an important supplement to their legal education. Approximately 350 teams from law schools across the nation will compete in one of 15 regions.

Washington is an associate in Swift Currie’s Birmingham office, representing companies in matters related to insurance coverage, commercial litigation and workers’ compensation.
