Gillian Crowl Recognized in 2021 Georgia Legal Awards by Daily Report

Headshot of Gillian CrowlPublished July 12, 2021, Swift Currie attorney Gillian Crowl was included in the Daily Report’s 2021 Georgia Legal Awards in the “On the Rise” category, which recognizes Georgia’s most promising lawyers under the age of 40. For inclusion in this list, attorneys must be innovators, demonstrate strong leadership qualities, demonstrate excellence in litigation or transactional work and commit themselves to pro bono, charitable and professional volunteer work.

At Swift Currie, Crowl represents businesses and insurance carriers in a wide range of matters, including commercial litigation, trucking litigation, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, insurance coverage, premises liability and bad faith litigation. In addition to her extensive experience defending clients in a myriad of legal and business issues, Crowl is highly active with professional organizations, serving as the deputy director of region XI of the National Bar Association, as well as the parliamentarian, Auction Committee chair and Judicial Review Committee co-chair for the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys. She was also named to the National Black Lawyers Top 100 for 2020.

Within the community, Crowl participates in the Community Service and Legal ministries at Cascade United Methodist Church.
