WEBINAR: Petitions for Medical Treatment
Attorneys Amanda Conley and Tara Schlairet are hosting workers' compensation webinar, "Petitions for Medical Treatment: A Complete Overview of the Process, Utility and Best Practices for Avoiding Pitfalls," on Dec. 10 from 1-2 p.m.
Navigating the procedural elements behind petitions for medical treatment (PMTs) requires quick and decisive action. Properly identifying the necessary actions to take when met with a PMT goes beyond merely authorizing or controverting requests.
Conley and Schlairet will help attendees build a solid foundation regarding the context, history and procedural pitfalls of PMTs. Additionally, they will provide best practices to implement in the face of a PMT to mitigate ongoing exposure and promote efficient claims management.
The webinar will offer one general hour of continuing education credit for attendees registered with the Georgia Department of Insurance.
