WEBINAR: Know When to Hold Them and Know When to Fold Them
On Wednesday, March 21, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Marc Sirotkin and Ronni Bright will host a webinar entitled, "Know When to Hold Them and Know When to Fold Them: Strategies for Handling Authorization of Medical Treatment in a Claim."
Sirotkin and Bright will give an overview of how the WC-Petition for Medical Treatment is becoming a tool often used by injured workers to push employers into making quick decisions regarding authorized medical treatment. The duo will guide attendees in how to best handle the petition by discussing the fundamentals of authorizing medical treatment, the legal requirement of the petition, the tools and defenses that can be used to respond to a petition and steps to properly defend the petition when served with one.
This webinar will offer one general hour of continuing education for attendees registered with the GA Department of Insurance.
