WEBINAR: The Duty to Settle, Responding to Time-Limited Demands and Extracontractual Liability

Webinar
07.15.2020

Attorneys Myrece Johnson and Lauren Woodrick will host the webinar, "The Duty to Settle, Responding to Time-Limited Demands and Extracontractual Liability," on July 15 from 1-2 p.m.

Everyone who handles bodily injury claims is familiar with the Holt time limit, policy limit demand. Georgia law in this area is constantly evolving and insurance companies’ obligations continue to be defined as Georgia courts address these claims.

This webinar is a primer on the bad faith law governing bodily injury claims, including an update in the applicable law, as well as how to apply these cases to the handling of a time-limited demand. Because some bad faith suits are inevitable no matter how the
claim is handled, this presentation will also include some suggested tips to put you in the best position to defend against such a claim.

The webinar will offer one general hour of continuing education credit for attendees registered with the Georgia Department of Insurance.

Instructions to join webinar will be emailed to registrants closer to the date of the program.
