Webinar
09.17.2020

On Sept. 17, Swift Currie partner Lisa A. Wade is speaking at Centerforce's Women in Corporate & Legal Leadership Virtual Summit on the panel, "The Time for Change is Now: Developing & Promoting Leaders of Color." The panel will begin at 11:25 a.m.

The panel will explore the challenges that minority leaders face in the legal profession, why law firms and other employers should care about retaining and advancing people of color, performative vs. sustainable change, affinity groups and other resources and success stories.

Additional panels include how the pandemic exacerbated economic disparities in America and redefining success in the age of COVID-19, among several others.

Centerforce may be going virtual this year, but the program will continue to explore the obstacles, risks and rewards on the path to a fulfilling and productive career for women and minority leaders, as well as offer networking opportunities.

The full program will be held from 8:45 a.m.-5:15 p.m.
