On Oct. 13, 2021, Swift Currie partner Lisa A. Wade is speaking at Centerforce's virtual Inclusion & Equity Summit: South on the panel, "Corporate America and the Cancel Culture: Challenges Facing Legal Teams." The panel will begin at 11:15 a.m.

The panel will explore how to distinguish between being held accountable and being canceled, lip service versus atonement and accountability without dehumanization.

Additional panel topics include the post-COVID workplace, recognizing and managing microaggressions, acknowledging privilege and becoming an ally, a lesson on racial illiteracy, creating a culture of inclusion and strategies for successful networking and sponsorship.

The past year and a half has changed the way we do business, socialize and educate. Centerforce's virtual summit will explore these changes and the effect they are having on the career paths of women and underrepresented group leaders.

The full program will be held from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Eastern.
