Swift Currie partner Crystal McElrath is speaking at the Seminar Group's 18th Annual Labor & Employment Law Seminar on Oct. 6, 2021, at 4:15 p.m.

McElrath will present, "Interviewing, Hiring, Documentation and Firing." During her presentation, she will discuss background checks, workplace investigations and avoiding wrongful discharge claims.

The full program will be held from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. each day from Oct. 6-7, 2021, at the Hilton Garden Inn Midtown/Homewood Suites in Atlanta, Georgia. Speakers will examine developments in labor law, leave laws and wage and hour laws. They will also cover issues surrounding disability discrimination, independent contractors, the NLRB, retaliation claims and offer discussions relevant to the COVID-19 crisis, including how to manage employees who work from home.
