Swift Currie partner Amanda Goozée will present at the Alabama State Bar Mid-Year Meeting on January 19, 2023.

Join the Alabama State Bar for its Mid-Year Meeting January 18-20, 2023, at The Battle House Hotel in Mobile, Alabama. The Alabama Circuit and District Court Judges will be right down the street at The Riverview Hotel. The Mobile and Baldwin County Bar Associations have planned two joint receptions for its members and the judges during the meeting.

Amanda Goozée, who serves as president of the Workers' Compensation section of the Alabama State Bar, will present "Tiger King and Tiger Claims: A Study in Workers' Compensation Issues," which will take a look at the issues at play in the popular pandemic series from potential defenses such as intoxication and willful misconduct, to scheduled member injuries and even failure of an employer to obtain workers' compensation insurance.
