WEBINAR: No-(De)Fault – How to Open Default and Avoid Judgment

Webinar
09.07.2023 | 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm EST

Attorneys Kevan Dorsey and Blake Reed will host the webinar "No-(De)Fault: How to Open Default and Avoid Judgment " on September 7, 2023, from 1-2 p.m. Eastern.

When suit is filed, it is crucial that a defendant file a timely answer to avoid default. Unfortunately, default will occur in some cases for a variety of reasons outside your control. Recent decisions by Georgia Courts have changed the requirements to open default, which benefit defendants. To guide you in monitoring and calculating deadlines for answering a complaint, this webinar is a primer on opening default and will include a plethora of suggested tips and instructions to help claims adjusters avoid default.

The webinar will offer one general continuing education credit for attendees registered with the Georgia Department of Insurance (pending approval).
