Zack Lewis

Zack Lewis is a litigator whose practice focuses on professional liability, construction litigation, insurance coverage, bad faith, transportation and general liability matters. He represents businesses, insurers and professionals in complex, high-exposure disputes and has successfully tried cases before judges and juries in courts throughout Georgia. Zack also has extensive experience briefing and arguing dispositive motions and appeals in both state and federal courts.

Zack's professional liability practice includes the defense of attorneys, insurance brokers, architects, engineers, accountants and medical professionals. He has particular experience handling professional liability claims arising from cybersecurity scams, as well as matters involving commercial real estate transactions, franchise agreements, securities compliance and partnership disputes.

In his insurance coverage practice, Zack represents insurance carriers in both first-party and third-party claims involving manuscript and standard-form policies. He has prosecuted and defended declaratory judgment actions involving commercial general liability, professional liability, directors and officers liability, automobile and commercial property policies. He also advises insurers on bad faith avoidance strategies, including navigating time-limited settlement demands and other high-risk claims-handling issues.

Zack also represents construction companies, roofing contractors, remediation companies, design professionals and home inspection companies in construction defect litigation through trial. His general liability practice includes defending businesses and property owners against claims arising from third-party criminal acts, Dram Shop Act liability and premises liability matters, including trip-and-fall claims.

In addition, Zack has significant experience defending commercial vehicle accident litigation. Prior to focusing on insurance defense, he represented plaintiffs in automobile accident cases, giving him valuable insight into both sides of transportation litigation.
