Overview

Trisha D. Hyatt is an associate attorney in Swift Currie’s Atlanta office. She focuses her practice on matters pertaining to automobile litigation, catastrophic injury and wrongful death, premises liability and trucking litigation.

Prior to joining Swift Currie, Trisha participated in several experiential opportunities while in law school. She worked with in-house counsel at both The Home Depot and RaceTrac. These experiences gave her valuable insight on how to efficiently work with a corporation’s in-house counsel. During her second year of law school, she became involved in the Veterans Legal Clinic, where she managed a caseload and worked with others to obtain best outcomes.

Being a first-generation college and law graduate from a small town has shaped Trisha’s perspective the most. Her personal experiences prompts her to be aware of social inequities and to adjust her communication methods with clients depending on their individual needs. In her practice, Trisha prioritizes developing personal connections with her clients. By connecting with her clients on a personal level through, for example, shared experiences or other similarities, she feels she is better positioned to provide them with optimal outcomes.

Trisha earned both her J.D. and B.A. from the University of Georgia.
