Overview

Paul J. Spann is an associate attorney in Swift Currie’s Atlanta office. His practice centers on the civil defense of automobile litigation, catastrophic injury and wrongful deaths, premises liability, products liability and appellate cases.

During law school, Paul interned and externed with district attorneys’ offices before going on to begin his legal career as an assistant district attorney in Coweta County, having tried six criminal cases before transitioning to civil practice. His experience with criminal procedure has greatly prepared him to litigate cases involving negligent security. Paul has had a multitude of motions practice, depositions and mediations during his time in civil practice.

Recognizing the stress that case uncertainty can cause, Paul makes it a priority in his practice to outline the processes for his clients and offer reassurances about the likely outcomes based on the unique facts and circumstances surrounding their case.

Paul earned his J.D. from Georgia State College of Law. He received his B.A. from Georgia College and State University.
