Maahum Haider

Maahum Haider is an associate at Swift Currie representing clients in automobile litigation, premises liability, trucking litigation and insurance coverage matters. Her practice focuses on counseling individuals and businesses in legal issues that impact their everyday operations, from automobile accidents to slip-and-fall claims.

Maahum is known for her client-centered approach to advocacy, emphasizing empathy, communication and trust. She strives to make every client feel heard and respected, taking care to explain legal matters clearly and without judgment.

During law school, Maahum gained hands-on experience working in the University of Florida’s Immigration Clinic, where she advised clients navigating complex and emotionally charged cases. In one matter, she counseled an abuse survivor seeking immigration status independent of her abuser, an experience that strengthened Maahum’s commitment to advocacy grounded in compassion and empowerment.

Maahum earned her J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and her B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Florida.
