Overview

Emilia Covaci is an associate attorney in Swift Currie’s Atlanta office. She focuses her practice on matters pertaining to automobile litigation, commercial litigation, insurance coverage, premises liability, trucking litigation, catastrophic injuries and wrongful deaths.

Throughout law school, Emilia participated in several clinics where she represented clients as a student attorney. As a member of the University of Georgia Wilbank's CEASE Clinic, she served as a child advocate attorney, representing children's needs before the court and DFCS, and assisted clients with restricting or expunging certain crimes from their records. Emilia previously worked as a licensed mediator in Athens and Savannah and interned with the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit's District Attorney's Office.

Emilia has represented defendants in debt collection cases against third parties, giving her valuable knowledge and experience with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act in order to provide a viable counter claim against predatory third party debt collectors. 

In her practice, Emilia strives to be consistently attentive, hardworking and compassionate. She will always put her clients’ needs first and aims to make them feel confident with her diligent representation. 

Emilia earned both her J.D. and B.A. from the University of Georgia. She was a First Honor Graduate upon completing her undergraduate degree.

Emilia is passionate about dancing and has been a competitive hip hop and K-pop dancer on the University of Georgia's K-pop Dance Team. She enjoys reading a good book, spending quality time with friends and coding modifications for video games.
