Cristina Harty

Cristina M. Harty is an associate in Swift Currie’s Atlanta office. She focuses her practice on matters pertaining to insurance coverage, bad faith litigation, arson and fraud and commercial litigation. With a strong interest in resolving complex legal issues, Cristina brings a thoughtful and analytical approach to coverage disputes and other nuanced civil matters.

Prior to entering the legal field, Cristina worked in fundraising and communications for a nonprofit special education school, where she developed the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and approach challenges with creativity and flexibility. She previously practiced in workers’ compensation law and now concentrates on helping clients evaluate coverage and minimize exposure.

Clients appreciate Cristina’s ability to distill complicated legal problems and provide clear answers and direction. She is known for her intellectual curiosity, responsiveness and focus on delivering practical solutions.

Cristina earned her J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law and her undergraduate degree from New College of Florida.

In her free time, Cristina enjoys rock climbing indoors and out, exploring Atlanta’s food scene and petting as many dogs as possible in Piedmont Park.
