Overview

Carrye Ann Rainer is an associate in Swift Currie’s Birmingham office representing employers and insurers in workers’ compensation matters. She approaches her practice with an emphasis on clear communication, careful management of complex issues and proactive client service.

Carrye Ann earned her J.D. from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, where she served on the editorial board for the American Journal of Trial Advocacy as Student Materials Editor. During law school, she gained experience in both plaintiff and defense litigation, including work involving products liability, medical malpractice, premises liability and insurance defense. She also served as a judicial intern for Judge Elisabeth French, the Presiding Judge for the Tenth Judicial Circuit of Alabama, and completed an in-house legal externship, where she gained experience in employment classification, insurance coverage, litigation and legal risk management. Carrye Ann competed in moot court and negotiation competitions and was recognized for her legal writing.

Carrye Ann earned her B.A. from the University of Alabama, summa cum laude, with a major in Political Science and minors in English and Criminal Justice.

Outside of work, Carrye Ann enjoys playing mahjong, baking sourdough, taking her dog, Ollie, on walks and cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide.
