Akash Patel

Akash A. Patel is an associate attorney in Swift Currie’s Atlanta office. He focuses his practice on defending employers and insurers from workers’ compensation claims in Georgia.

To Akash, being “swift” means being prompt and diligent. As applied to the practice of law, being “swift” means taking care to assure his clients’ matters and concerns are addressed quickly and efficiently. In his work, Akash prioritizes developing creative strategies for assessing complex legal matters.

Akash earned his J.D. from Mercer University School of Law. He received his B.A. from Georgia State University.

Interests

Akash participates in judging high school and college mock trials and currently assists in coaching a Mercer Law School Mock Trial Team. He also enjoys cheering on the Atlanta Braves and spending time with friends and family.
