Biography

Drew Timmons practices in the firm's general civil litigation section. Mr. Timmons focuses in the areas of medical malpractice defense, premises liability, insurance coverage and automobile liability. His representative experience includes the representation and defense of physicians, nurses, hospitals and nursing homes in malpractice claims; insurance carriers in first-party coverage disputes and bad faith actions; and property owners, contractors and national businesses in premises liability, construction and automobile claims.

Mr. Timmons graduated with honors from Furman University in 2005 and received his law degree, with honors, from Georgia State University College of Law in 2008. While in law school, Mr. Timmons was an officer with the Moot Court Board and received multiple awards for his work in courses focused on trial advocacy and witness examination techniques. He was recognized by Atlanta Magazine as a Super Lawyer Rising Star in 2016 and 2017.

Interests/Additional Information

Mr. Timmons, an Atlanta native, lives in Buckhead with his wife, Louise, and their daughter, Anne Parkes. He is an avid runner and a volunteer with Back on My Feet, a non-profit organization, which uses running as a method of teaching independence and self-sufficiency to members of the local homeless community. He is a life-long Braves baseball fan and enjoys skeet shooting and hunting.
