Plaintiff Verdict in Slip and Fall Case

Plaintiff claimed injuries from an unwitnessed fall at a store due to water on the floor. The plaintiff went to the ER five days post fall claiming knee pain that led to an arthroscopic procedure. Plaintiff had a history of pre and post-date of loss falls most of which he denied on deposition. Defense presented video evidence of a subsequent fall, argued it was staged and disproved plaintiff’s claim of walking with a limp and used a cane every day post the fall in the store. Verdict for plaintiff.
