Tyler S. Connor is a workers’ compensation defense attorney for Swift Currie, representing mid- to large-size self-insured employers, staffing agencies, retail stores and restaurants, as well as trucking, construction and telecommunication companies. Tyler works closely with clients through the entire lifecycle of a workers’ compensation claim and positions his clients with the best possible defense.

Tyler has served as the primary attorney on numerous workers’ compensation claims and is well versed in taking and defending depositions, conducting mediations and compiling legal research to analyze and address clients’ needs. He has guided clients through often-challenging idiopathic injury claims,  conducting extensive investigations into alleged claims and thereby reducing potential exposure for a nominal amount.

With his clients’ best interest in mind, Tyler takes a firm stance when defending employers and insurers in workers’ compensation claims, while maintaining a positive reputation among peers and opposing counsel to foster an effective working relationship. He possesses vast experience in different fields to help clients no matter their situation and is committed to staying current on all issues involving workers’ compensation litigation to provide exceptional counsel to his clients.

While attending the University of Alabama School of Law, Tyler stayed engaged as an active member of the Business Law Society, Sports and Entertainment Law Society and Intellectual Property Law Society. Prior, he received his B.S. in commerce and business administration from the University of Alabama.
