Stacy Breaud practices in the areas of general liability and civil litigation. Stacy is experienced in developing cases throughout all stages of litigation and working with experts to craft strategies to rebut negligence and causation. Barred in Georgia, Massachusetts and D.C., she brings a broad perspective to her cases based on her years of practice in multiple jurisdictions.
Prior to joining Swift Currie, Stacy represented academic medical institutions, nationally ranked hospitals, individual healthcare providers, and skilled nursing and long-term care facilities, defending her clients in 30(b)(6) depositions, enforcing arbitration agreements and resolving cases at summary judgment. She has also successfully represented providers before their overseeing boards.
Stacy believes in developing strong, trusting relationships with her clients through zealous advocacy and transparency.
Upon graduating from New England Law Boston, Stacy devoted time to the Volunteer Lawyer Project of the Boston Bar Association where she provided free legal aid to low-income households. Prior, she interned at Greater Boston Legal Services, representing clients in asylum matters before the U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services. As both an attorney and an individual, giving back to the community is at the heart of Stacy’s work.
