Maurice “Reece” E. Riden, II, is an attorney practicing in Swift Currie’s litigation section, focusing on the areas of automobile litigation, insurance coverage and premises liability.

Prior to joining the firm, Reece was a staff attorney at Hall County State Court for Judge John G. Breakfield, where he gained ample experience gathering legal research, drafting correspondences, providing guidance to the judge regarding dispositions of motions, as well as assisting with case references, motions, hearings and trials. Working closely with judges gave Reece deep insight into what they look for during the litigation process, which he now lends to his clients to ensure he delivers effective representation leading to optimal results.

Reece also served as a legislative aide for a Georgia house representative, acting as a field representative to local constituents of the district and researching legal and procedural history of proposed legislation.

Reece earned his J.D. from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School, where he is the youngest sitting member of the alumni council. Before attending law school, he received his B.A. in pre-law from Emmanuel College.
