Overview
Lindsey A. Phillips is an associate attorney in Swift Currie’s Atlanta office. She focuses her practice on defending her clients in matters pertaining to automobile and trucking litigation, catastrophic injury and wrongful death, commercial litigation, construction law, insurance coverage and premises liability.
Prior to joining Swift Currie, Lindsey worked at a large full-service civil defense firm where she primarily defended healthcare providers. This work was done during the crux of the COVID-19 pandemic, which required her to stay abreast of the ever-changing regulations and counsel clients on how to best comply with those rules. Lindsey has also previously participated in jury trials and arbitration hearings and has received favorable rulings on motions for summary judgments on behalf of her clients.
Lindsey was previously voted a Top 40 Under 40 Attorney by the National Black Lawyers. Her expertise in healthcare law also granted her an invitation from the Magic City Bar Association to present a CLE on healthcare law updates. She has also been a featured presenter to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
When it comes to developing strategies to solve her clients’ legal issues, Lindsey prioritizes being thorough and thoughtful. Lindsey prides herself on being an efficient legal researcher, persuasive writer and clear communicator to achieve the best results possible.
Lindsey received her M.B.A. from Samford University and her B.S. from Mercer University. She earned her J.D. from the Cumberland School of Law.

Interests
Lindsey holds a special interest in increasing diversity, equity and inclusion within the legal community. She is also an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, an international service organization. Lindsey is passionate about reading and literacy and is the founder of a book club titled “Books and Vibes.”
