Jurie Joyner

Jurie C. Joyner is an associate attorney in Swift Currie’s Atlanta office. She focuses her practice on workers’ compensation defense and civil litigation.

Prior to joining Swift Currie, Jurie worked as a Superior Court law clerk in the Dublin Judicial Circuit and as a staff attorney for the Henry County Probate Court. While in law school, she gained experience as a NCAA compliance intern at Georgia State University and as a criminal prosecutor under the Third-Year Practice Act at the Bibb-County State Solicitor’s Office.

While working towards her undergraduate degree, Jurie was a D1 collegiate softball player, an experience which taught her perseverance, drive and teamwork. Jurie believes that her athletic training shows up in both her personal and professional life, especially when an effective “game time” decision must be made. In her work, Jurie prioritizes developing high-quality and trustworthy relationships with her clients by being a personable, driven and genuine attorney.

Jurie earned her J.D. from Mercer University School of Law. She received her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.
