Overview
Joseph “Joe” G. Emanuel is an associate attorney in Swift Currie’s Atlanta office. He focuses his practice on construction, transportation, governmental, environmental and employment litigation. He has also successfully represented individuals and small businesses facing challenges with high personal stakes, from complex federal conspiracy charges to claims of childhood sexual abuse.
With extensive experience in litigation, Joe has a demonstrated record of achieving successful outcomes for his clients through skilled advocacy in trial and appellate courts. Joe previously represented a defendant against claims brought by six plaintiffs who were represented by one of the largest law firms in the world, and successfully obtained six defense judgments.
In his representation, Joe prioritizes diligent work to confront the most challenging obstacles facing his clients so that they don’t have to, using his experience to help clients avoid litigation before it occurs. Joe has developed expertise in the laws governing residential construction in Georgia, including the Right to Repair Act. He also has experience representing clients in matters before the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission and Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
Joe earned his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law. He received his B.A. from the University of West Georgia.
