Gerond Lawrence is a skilled litigator with experience representing Fortune 500 companies, insurance carriers, health care providers, municipalities, transit authorities and individuals in claims related to catastrophic injury & wrongful death, commercial litigation, employment counseling & litigation and premises liability.
Gerond carries significant appellate experience. He has argued cases before the Eleventh Circuit, Supreme Court of Georgia and the Court of Appeals of Georgia. He has also successfully argued for a new trial before a local trial court throwing out an $11 million verdict that resulted from flawed jury charges in a premises liability case.
Gerond is familiar with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and is well versed in various federal discrimination laws, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 and the Equal Pay Act of 1963.
Approaching each case individually and thoughtfully, Gerond maintains upfront, honest communications with his clients to understand their desired outcome. With this in mind, Gerond dives deep into the case details — while never losing sight of the big picture — and takes creative, problem-solving steps to find ways to win for his clients.
